3. Select the appropriate Reference Method: A, B, or C.

OMNIScanner will store a separate reference value for each wavelength.

OMNIScanner will store reference data for up to 5 OMNIFiber pairs. See Chapter

8, Fiber Optic Reference Methods for further information.

NOTE

Once the reference value has been set, ensure that both launch cables

remain attached to the fiber adapters. When setting the Reference using

Loopback or Method B, ensure that the TX (transmit) connections are

not disturbed.
